This is the image for the news article titled Parent Welcome NightWith the restructuring of the grade spans we realize that parents have a lot of questions about what the transitions will look like for the start of the next school year (2019-2020). In order to help with the preparations of these transitions, the schools will be hosting an early Parent Welcoming Night. These sessions will give parents the opportunity to meet their new principals, get a general idea of the new school’s schedule (start/end times), and an overall flow of the day. Parents will also have the opportunity to ask other questions during these sessions. Please see below for the scheduled dates for each school.

Golden Brook School
Topics will be focused on the 3rd and 4th grade students only
There will be a separate event (Teddy Bear Picnic) that will be held for incoming Kindergarten students and parents
Wednesday, May 29th (6pm) Gymnasium
Principal, Chris Hunt and Assistant Principal, Billie-Jo Martin

Windham Center School

Topics will be focused on the incoming 5th and 6th grade students
Thursday, May 2nd (6pm) Gymnasium
Principal, Rory O’Connor and Assistant Principal, Kimberly Freccero

Windham Middle School

Topics will be focused on the 7th and 8th grade students and parents
Wednesday, May 15th (6pm) Cafeteria
Principal, Brenda Morrow and Assistant Principal, Jay Gratton
