Fraudulent claims of Windham School District and Athletic Program Sponsorships

WINDHAM, NH- June 28, 2018

The Windham School District has recently been made aware that there have been additional fraudulent calls made that are claiming to represent the Windham School District or Windham, NH Athletic Boosters Club as a way to collect “donations” for our athletic programs.

Representatives from a company called Sports Media Advertising are claiming that they work for the district or athletic department and through local company sponsorships, they will create banners, t-shirts, and other promotional items that will be shipped to the High School to be used as promotional items. According to different new articles, they have been know to change their name to avoid the cease and desist. Other affiliated named could include Boost Sports and Touchdown Sports.

The Windham School District and/or the Windham Athletic Boosters Club have not sourced out any media agency to promote or make calls on our behalf for any fundraising campaigns or sponsorships.  The Windham Police have been notified and they are currently investigating the situation.

If you receive a suspicious call or have any questions regarding a call similar to the description above, please contact the SAU office.

Thank you again for your support.
