The Windham School District is actively monitoring and is in communication with the NH Department of Health and Human Services (NHDHHS). If you have recently traveled, and anyone in your home exhibits any of following symptoms below, please keep your student home until the symptoms have resolved without the use of medication for 24-hours. Symptoms may appear in as few as 2 days or as long as 14 days after exposure. Symptoms of people with confirmed COVID-19 infections have primarily included:
• Fever
• Cough
• Difficulty breathing

The Windham School District is committed to taking the appropriate action, if necessary, to avoid any of our schools and students being affected by this virus. As a preventative measure, all schools will continue to be disinfected throughout the school-year in order to prevent the spread of any germs or viruses.

 How to protect yourself and others
• Wash your hands with soap and water often for at least 20 seconds
• Do not touch your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick
• Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands
• Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces
• Stay home from work or school if you have a fever or are not feeling well
